0 The Art Curator
By tommy on
I caught Laura Rivas on her way to work back in December when it was pretty damn cold in London. Laura, originally from Spain, worked as a curator at a nearby art gallery and I felt particularly drawn to her colourful and warm looking vintage coat and its interesting pattern, mixed with her traditional Spanish stole. It was a kind of clash between the ethnic styles and a London Sloane Pony with her LK Bennett boots and Penalva bag thrown in. But nonetheless I liked!

0 The Circus is back in Town
By tommy on
So its back again, Fashion Week has returned to the venues of London and so the excitement, the stress, the waiting, the dashing, the fighting, the friend making and the general circus that it is, has begun!
To kick start things we have a beautiful model I caught outside the Aminake Wilmont show this afternoon, whose name I have no clue of, but I'm guessing is from Models1 given the book in her hand.
The weather report is awful for the next few days in London, but here is hoping for some succesful picture taking of the beautiful and the fashionable that make it all worthwhile!

0 New York
By tommy on
I nipped over to New York recently and once all the work was done I had a little time to wander around the streets. This was my 1st visit stateside and so I felt somewhat like a kid in Toys-R-Us. I just loved the people and the vibe and set off to discover its little gems. After wandering around for about 5 hrs in flip-flops, my feet were both filthy and aching so being in Chinatown by that point, I treated those poor feet to a massage!

Two of my favourite ladies at Grazia, Paula Reed and Charlie Miller, always manage to cheer me up when I see them. They are quite simply two of the nicest people I've ever been lucky enough to know, let alone harass at fashion week or in the Grazia office.

I stumbled across an old photo I took today, which hasn't really seen the light of day before, but I thought I would give it some life and share its dark ideas with the world.

During my DJ career I had the benefit of playing at a fantastic club every weekend in Sheffield and Hull called Fuel from around 2003 - 2008. The club had an electric atmosphere and the clientele would always make an effort to dress up and party. These pictures were taken circa 2006 a year before the Sheffield club closed and feature club entertainers Philip who had an alter-ego called Gayham, DJ Raunchy Rusty and Jamie.
